To be frank over the past 7 years under the DPP party administration things has been on a downhill in my opinion. In the past 5 years there have been a few of these gun fights reported.
Few months ago KMT has reported that the current law minister has some linked or close relationship with the gangster 竹聯幫. Last night gun fight was about gangster not sharing the profit they received from the night life or hotel. But detail currently is very fragmented, so waiting for more detail to be release soon.
