after kana pbanned at hwz, I decided moved my AMA thread from edmw to here. 

I did a post graduate certificate in Australian Migration Law with an AU university many years ago. I may have not have all the updated info but what the heck, we will get more contributions from recent migrants or successful applicants here.

this thread is to provide all the necessary information to DIY your applications without paying fees to migration agents (> $4500!)

but whether to migrate or not, it is entirely up to you. you have to decide the path that you want to take and consider the push/pull factor.

subclass 189 visa
Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189)
This visa is for invited workers and New Zealand citizens with skills we need, to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia.
