TRUE
BEST IS STILL NOT GD ENOUGH, MUST ALWAYS BE BETTER N GETTING BETTER N BETTER
NO COMPETITION WILL MAKE U LAZY N TAKE EVERYTHING FOR GRANTED
COMPETITIONS RESULT IN BETTER RESULTS
OTHERWISE COMPLACENCY WILL SIT DEEP IN,,NO NEED TO IMPROVE  BECOS NO ONE KICK N CHECK ON ME
They will scold you for opposing for the sake of opposing nia.
Actually it is two different but interlinked things.

Whether PAP is effective as a govt, this should always be evaluated objectively and the best answer is to vote them out if they are not effective towards the needs and maybe wants of the citizens.

Naturally then it means that if more people vote for opposition it means the people are saying PAP is not effective as a govt for the people's cause.

And frankly, not the number of degrees Ivy League etc or how well they did in army or civil service determine their capabilities. Because whilst they may be very good at taking order previously, they may not or choose to don't recognize the people's needs and orders but only listen to their party leader (who may not be acting for the people or may be too detached from the ground). And of course, you have the flip side type like in opposition where the MP can do whatever and say whatever she fancy even when her party leader question her on the facts.. lol

No end lah... Focus on improving the lives of Singaporeans bah...
From my view point

Because we do not have a Coalition Party

Chan CS who waste time on "What's the Pt behind the question"

Shoot Blank Queen who cannot answer Pritam on how to ensure New SPH is not tainted

Shanmuggam rejected Ombudsman

so we die die must have MORE Opposition

there is no other way

Whether PAP is effective or not is PAP own party's business.

It has totally nothing to do with common struggling  Singaporeans

Pap can be more effective if there are more oppositions. No competition, they will take the people for granted and boh hui them. He talk about strong mandate are all bull sht. If the party form the govt, they must always do the best for the people and oppositions are there for check and balance. If the govt fail, there must always be others ready to take over.

How can PAP be effective when they don't see any light at the end of the tunnel,?
