China is responsible for 40.3% of 6G patent filings, followed by the U.S. with 35.2%. Japan  with 9.9%, Europe with 8.9% and South Korea with 4.2%, reports the Nikkei.

According Trump, China copied from US.

It's great to be able to copy to lead the world.

US banned sale of high end chips to China.

But US corps lost a lot of medium level chips as China researched and made a lot of chips by itself.

Soon, as China researches and makes breakthrough in the high end chips, US will make no money from chips business.

Don't read too much into the number of patents. Patents are simply publication of original ideas and have no meaning in terms of usefulness. When China goes to the standards bodies she'll be vetoed like hell.

China already testing 6G in space.  Does it had anything to do with the loss of GPS signals in the South China Sea recently?
