The word "Expat" is overrated and not applicable here.
Gone are the days when such label includes fat salary + coy-paid-living expense, children education + condo/landed housing + limo service.

Today, rent on own pocket $ and Grab or MRT one.
I suggest CNA next time should use "Migrant Workers" to reflect current reality when coming to SG to make a living.

Seems like COVID bring in more foreigners here to work. Sinkees very happy to collect more rent....no jobs is fine.

Nothing new in CNA's report. The World already know SG is famous for being EXPENSIVE. 

Yet foreigner still wanna come. Remember what was M'sian's 1st reaction when they heard of MCO lock down in Mar 2020 ? Notice CNA never say "Expatriates walking across the Causeway to Singapore as well..." ?

Adam Smith Theory at work here lah - its all about supply vs demand. The Fun-Fact, however, is many used to laugh at SG by giving nice names like "Disneyland with Death Penalty", "the Little Red Dot" or "pee-sai" to "Fine City".

Today, we see so many foreigners wanna cum. It's not because we had changed Gov, our Law or our way of life, but rather the same people who used to joke at SG now see SH!T in their own today.
