How come 厦门hokkien is different from 泉州hokkien in China. Both city their hokkien dialect slightly difference.

I am hokkien. My grandfather relatives are in Xiamen..or Fuzhou

SG hokkien is it closer to Xiamen pronunciation?

The language is complex in Fujian, there are hundreds of variations, every town every village speaks differently from one another. Taiwanese speak different from Spore, Msians also speak different version of Hokkien.
