Dismantle CPF Board to give members a choice between GIC, Temasek and Banks FDs

"Since CPF CEO used average 3 months local Banks FDs @2.50% for fixing OA

Maybe members prefer to place pension savings with Banks FD 6 months @ 3.90% pa. Or longer terms Instead."

Rather than wasting everybody's time and $$$.

The hard truth is CPF Board is incapable of managing complex pension funds and wealth strategies better than GIC, Temasek and Banks FD managers (as CPF uses it to fix OA).

Certainly, GIC and Temasek can gaurantee minimum floor rate of 2.50%pa. and paying higher ROI yearly.

Suggest risk free strategy
40% placed with GIC
30% placed with Temasek
30% placed with Banks FD 6/12 months
the interest rate by cpf is a joke now

Mr Aussieland, I strongly recommend you check up what is the arrangement before you continue to mislead people. It's not up to CPF CEO to decide. It's for ministry of manpower and ministry of finance to decide how CPF funds are managed.

Mr Aussieland, you're talking rubbish here. Dismantle CPF Board? Who's going to handle all the incoming CPF contributions every month and chase employers who don't pay. Who's going to run the many cpf schemes? You mean set up another statutory board to take over all the stuff that CPFB is now doing? LOL you really TCSS.
Talk is free. Free speech.

NATO.

To save a lot of taxpayers money , maybe GIC recommending CPF Board and staff to become GIC back-office reporting to GIC CEO.

It's becomes a part of GIC establishment

CPF cannot invest
CPF give lower interest 2.50% far below Banks FD
CPF Board cannot transfer pension $ to GIC
CPF keeping quiet since 1 Oct fixing OA @ 2.50%
CPF not interested in.maximizing ROI for retirees
CPF fixing OA based on Banks 3m FD.
Etc..

No brainer? It's more like brainless, to be honest. Please for goodness sake, do your research into what the set-up and objectives are for CPF Board and GIC before making hare-brained suggestions from Aussieland. Gawd, you really know how to talk rubbish.

Omg, you really are talking so much without bothering to understand the system. You talk like you're some guru sitting in aussieland, honestly dude, get a life. do research more before you post. But it's obvious you'll keep posting rubbish because it gives you something to look forward to everyday. Please lah, volunteer your brains to aussieland, they're in deep shite and need your generous help.

Your style is to keep posting new threads and do hit and run. I'm still waiting for you to substantiate your claim that you made a few days ago, which I'm pasting here for your easy reference, about where you pluck the $350 figure from. You manufactured the figure, izzit?

"The PAP govt staying on for so long and yet, CPF pension funds manager cannot maximize returns to meet most members retirement needs.IE growing more than 450,000 age 65 and above received payout AVG $350 per.month. Something drastic needed to be done."

I wondered you are being deliberately obtuse

There's no reason why CPF buys SGS Bonds from MAS thru entitled lifetime .

Will CPF Board able to survive IF CPF members put all  $500 Bil to FDs with 3 local Banks?

Then, nothing for CPF management to do..

cannot, based on the existing rule.

don't keep on complaining about CPF when you are not sure about the rules.

no one will care about you if you continue to do so, others just treat as barking from neighbour's dog.
