But there’s a part of his life he’s guarded about: He struggles to read or write English.

How to become a marine engineer if he can't read and write English? Seems like any tom dick and harry can call himself engineer nowadays

Why Singapore Govt didn't do anything about English?
While late LKY started "Speak Mandarin" campaign
I failed my inglish in my psle and now still struggle to write proper inglish.

I think the TH employees can go MBS casino to tikam tikam and the results may even be better than their current status quo.
No need for high flying academic qualifications to achieve such dismal performances

Actually I still find it very irritating to hear a hongkie sing song accent. Feel like slapping them every single time
