anyone using indoor room Portable Air Conditioner? Any feedback?

it’s good when you cannot use window unit or dont have split unit…easy to setup but takes up floor space

How to drain out the water?

most will evap out the hose…can also drain at end of day from the bottom

dual hose or flexible air duct is good
aircon compressor noise is terrible especially at night
night time everything is quieter
so compressor become louder

i have a very quiet portable indoor unit
modified

i goto carpenter shop to make indoor aircon box silencers
the box inside has sound barrier form 4cm thick
of course it has 3 outlet
2 for the hose and 1 for the cold air outlet

it measure only 20 Decibels
quieter than a split unit

but the space comsume is twice as big and no longer can it move around cause it is inside a box

China hv the best portable AC. Not sure how it works....10yrs ago in Chengdu gf home. She had one in the hall the size of a fridge. It can blow cold or hot air.

Only the rooms she hv split units.
