Russia's President Vladimir Putin said Germany and France had betrayed him. The head of the Kremlin also comments on the recent statements made by former Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Russia President Vladimir Putin does not rule out agreements on Ukraine in the future. However, he was betrayed by Germany and France. In 2014 and 2015, the two countries mediated in the negotiations on the Minsk ceasefire agreement between Ukraine and the pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine. But now they are supplying arms to Ukraine, according to the Kremlin chief's accusation.

He was "disappointed" by the statements made by former Chancellor Angela Merkel. Merkel told Die Zeit on Wednesday that the Minsk agreement was an attempt to give Ukraine more time. The country also used the time to get stronger.

Merkel was instrumental in the 2015 Minsk Agreement, but the peace plan was never fully implemented. A few months after the end of Merkel's term in office, Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 this year.

if Putin did no wrong, he shd not hv the fear that NATO and West wil attack Russia. As Chinese idiom  saying that if a person did no evil wil not fear devil knocks on his door. Even if NATO and WEST attack Russia, Putin hv his every rights for self defence. Just like what happens to Ukraine on self defence.

Yes a country has the right to self defense. Why would Putin wants to expand his territory, since he has already such a big piece of land in Russia.........

If life is so simple, then NATO should not expand. Why do you need NATO organization of 40 countries? You wanna control the world through military or through charity like President Star Charity??
