It is such a controversy..........two persons of the same political party, saying two different things about public housing........

when FTs are the ones with good paying jobs

So, affordable for PRs, but not born citizens

Most of them speaks without conscience just to collect easy money ........serving themselves.
Ask them to reduce their salary to 5k net per month.See if they will complain louder than a peasant .

about 10 years ago, PAP also said keeping HDB flats affordable, now the price is $1 millions.

10 years later in 2032, the price may hit above $1.5 millions, they will also say affordable.

how can HDB be affordable when the price is above $1 millions ?

do you need to be millionaire to buy HDB flat ?
