Every business can use GST as an excuse to

increase price by 5% or for some, 10% next year

Quite true, but for food vendors the increase is more than 10%....

try to avoid the food stall that sell prices too high and not market rate. they really spoilt the market. food is make for a staple for living, but now people jack up prices. this is an insult as not all people are rich and not all are working.

Quite true, not everybody is rich, and there as some retirees who have very little income........

HC most stalls operate only half day....must be damn good profit!

Maybe end of the day, when they move into their condo, condo maintenance fees increase by $100 due to 8% GST....
