Actually very simple Xmas is for angmo or Christian usually English speaking ppl so want to see Xmas related theme movies can switch to Channel 5. For non-Christian no speak English watch Channel 8 explosive theme movie. Well and river water don't mix

To be fair chinese moobies had been dead since the early 2000s, news chinese moobies produced after that drop in both quality and quantity gradually years after years. It seem like creativity suddenly die up and only very few that survived from the golden age of HK moobie industry still making decent film nia. Still leemember that time those hk moobie companies only know how to blame this on piracy nia.
Nao ish already 2020s, without not much quality new moobies around can't really blame TV for rerunning the old one lah. Moi ish more surprised that they don't try rerun more of those 80s 90s HK classic, many still great to enjoy and good chance to reintroduce those great moobies to the current generation of si ginna.
