Unable to extract sufficient mineral resources, outpaced by China and the United States, the European Union intends to multiply free trade agreements in 2023 with countries endowed with minerals and strategic metals, like the treaty signed in December with Chile. But in these countries, European manufacturers will have to overcome stiff competition to supply themselves.
