The state has recorded 950 new, locally acquired cases of COVID-19 and seven deaths.

That’s Victoria’s highest daily tally since the beginning of the pandemic and the highest number of deaths in a 24-hour reporting period this year. Yesterday, Victoria recorded 867 new cases of coronavirus and four deaths.
