Footage has spread online of a horrific incident in China’s Guangzhou in which a driver plowed through a crowded pedestrian crossing, killing five and injuring 13, before appearing to throw banknotes in the air.
Police have detained the 22-year-old suspect after his rush-hour attack, during which he appeared to target a traffic policeman on a motorbike who managed to escape.
