Taiwan’s original plan was to stop enemy in the sea, now the U.S. wants Taiwan to fight street fight with PLA….no choice already.

They may hit the ones that planted them. 
After all the mines will be laid in Taiwan not China.

Only silly country uses foot soldiers.
Use drones first to clear the mines. And use missile s to bombard.
Then parachute army to control major cities.

Taiwan denies it is another Ukraine but indeed it will become another Cambodia with hundreds of thousands land mines that will take decades to be removed after the war.

There are many ports and habours, how to lay mines at all these places? Wasting money only

I hope PLA once captured Taiwan and cull all DPP and their family clans. Leave no one.

So, Taiwan is going to surround the whole island with mines and only the Taiwanese know where the secret passages are free of mines for their ships to leave and enter. 
The question is what if the PLA also added another few layers of mines around the Taiwanese island and seal the whole country completely? ....

Taiwan's soldiers who lays the mines, must know where to move around, it is a closely guarded secret..........

Drones are already used to detect and detonate mines remotely, maybe ah tsai didnt know and still want to go ahead, or someone got huge kickbacks from arms dealers?

It is possible that someone may have kickbacks from the sale of arms......perhaps they are the  ones who sells Taiwan the landmines........

The problem is the manufacturer of these mine cannot guarantee that they will not self explode.

And for the past 2 days Taiwanese news been reporting about their experienced in Kin Men. Where they have mines lying around in the beach front in the past. One of their resident has lost one of her leg for stepping on one of the mine many years ago.

Once these mines are laid, no one will remember exactly where the mines are.

For those who joke about having these mines laid in Taiwan mainland. First goes to show your hate against China and also show how you failed to consider for Taiwanese who may stepped on these mines by accident. Your hate for the sake of it, tells a lot about yourself.

The Battle for Taiwan may not be fought in Taiwan 

It could be fought in Hokkaido, Korea or Philippines or on any of the Japan held island chain

The elephants fighting over global Tech-rich Taiwan would prefer to keep Taiwan in good shape, and it is easy to do the fighting in a remote area less 'expensive and can be sacrificed'

Similarly the Ukraine war is a war between the West allies vs Russia China in the shadows
