This shows u very poor and hv yet tasted high quality sea cucumber.
You can't eat up 1kg of the sea cucumber, it is a lot. I bought only about 200g and can last for 3 meals for a family of 4.

Yes sea cucumber are sold in a dry form, therefore when it is soaked in water it will expand, so to buy 1kg is a lot...........

there is a lot of work to soak and clean sea cucumber. i remember my mum added charcoal ash into the water to soak them when i was young.

Many have always irrational mindset. Always spend on unwarranted exorbitant priced item just because its once a year or once a while even short of supply .When inflation kicks in again they complain.
When they lose their job ,no savings, they complain.
The authority many a time already inflating our cost of living , most people added more inflation by wasteful and irrational spending.
