I tell her off in a non offensive way last time. They do that because they want higher pay. But their greed will not stop there. Nowadays I heard less unlike COVID time. COVID time got people approach other people maid asking when their contract end.

True, maids are always asking for more.

But they are not indispensable , there are lots including part time helpers out there. I understand some male China migrant workers are even prepared to do part time home based cleaning. 

Never let maids preponderate over you. Tell them off firmly if they are deviating too much from the norm. What they can do we also can.

It is a pity if employers are held at ransom by their maids.  What the maid can do an employer can also do. Maids that 'hold their employers at ransom' should be replaced immediately........................

Better be wary with yr words. They wil put some some dirty stuffs into the foods. Lots of maids cannot be trusted.
