The LAPD release full video of the incident.

All these big figures... Will they even get paid that $50m??

Saw the whole video.

1. Man was mentally ill or on drugs was showing signs of delusional paranoia.

2. Police ordered him to get down on the floor. In his mentally disturb state he did not comply and appear to struggle when a group of police tried to press him down.

3. The police then fired their stun gun aka Taser to subdue him several times in quick succession. 6 times in 40 seconds.

4. The man was arrested and later died of cardiac arrest.

The police could have done something different like using more force to pin him down..while he struggled .(that may also cause injury?) Or fire the stunned slowly like pace it it out....that would mean a longer struggle as the man was quite strong.

Without the benefit of perfect hindsight, how is the police officer to know the man will die. For all we know the has preexisting issues that cause death.

Below is extract from police manual on use of stun guns. The police cab use it multiple times so long as suspect is still resisting.
