Many of them have been working in Spore for 10-15 years already, 7 days a week,  later go back to their hometowns in Fujian to retire comfortably 

They are making $80-100 per 4 hours

But I find many of the cleaners are Singaporeans leh.


I have met many seniors in my dealing as volunteer for old folks, their jobs invariably are cleaners.

Many of them are peidu mama, their kids are now all grown up, some study at university or poly others already started working in office

Not these cleaners at public places, most of the cleaning aunties at people’s homes are from Fujian China

Friends were telling me such home cleaners get like $45-50 per 3 hrs ? where you get $80 per hour siah......

$45-50? That’s the very old rate years ago, nowadays minimum $80 for 4 hours…expect the rate will go up soon due to high inflation

Our shameless local fake British are demand all FW ( cleaner, bus driver, hawker assistant.......)  from China should be compulsory to speak English
