Typical Taiwanese mindset: the island should be defended by others while Taiwan's youth can continue to play video games.

The Chinese need not invade, the just need to Surround the island ..its game over

So far the Chinese didnt act rashly and as long the Taiwan remain status quo... there will be peace

The Chinese aint complacent , they probably realise that war these days are fought by drones

so need to build up their air, sea and land drones capabilities ..something is achievable ..since air drone no 1 player is DJI, next is sea drones and Land drones

Luckily Xi is patient and calm.

logistically, it is difficult to supply Taiwan with weapons during war. China will KO any ships coming in. They have practised.

Not many are willing to fight, and those can run hv already planned to do so.

chances are low now becos they stirred the hornet nest. Once unify again, we all can go Taiwan in peace.

The Taiwanese knew they will all become cannon fodders if they are sent to fight with PLA. I think they all have plans to run away if they can afford or raise the white flag as soon as they confront the PLA like what the KMT army done in 1949 when CCP crossed the Long River to take over the country. ...

US says they can train Taiwanese soldiers, Taiwan has to pay.

China is already doing this, it will send two aircraft carriers to the north and east of Taiwan to stop the U.S. snd Japan intervention, meanwhile the PLA will send thousands of drones to the coast of Taiwan and move inland followed by hundreds of J20 fighter jets and bombers.

Taiwan’s oil reserve & natural gas reserve can only last 11 days, 90% imported from overseas.

No matter how US train them, they will still remain as cannon fodders if the fight is with PLA unless the training by US can turned them into invincible human. That's the hard truth after appreciation of the military strengths of both the Taiwan province and Mainland China ....

Unlike brave Ukrainians, Taiwanese have no guts to fight a war with China, nobody wants to die for defending Taiwan….like that many will run away or surrender when war breaks out, even the U.S. can’t do anything.

No more President Tsai, she stepped down as party chief after losing the recent local elections and now her rival Lai is now new party chief and gets ready for 2024 election. Lai’s new slogan is 和平保台 instead of 抗中保台。
