you are talking rubbish, Japanese Kwantung Army was based in Manchuria all along and was finally defeated by Soviet Red Army in 1945, they have never ever been deployed in Malaya...

It was reported that at the point of Japanese surrender in WW2 sept 1945, in Taiwan alone already have 400,000 汉族 taiwanese that had totally discarded their chinese names and had completely changed to use Japanese names in their taiwanese identity cards.

These 400,000 taiwanese are chinese race and have no japanese blood but they adopt Japanese names and Japanese surnames and have no chinese names

There are really a certain percentage of taiwanese during that 1930s to 1940s era that believe the Japanese propaganda that the entire chinese race is a very despicable cunning race and hence many taiwanese during that 1930s to 1940s stopped referring themselves as chinese race people and changed to use Japanese surnames in their identity cards although they totally have no japanese ancestry.

you have a good point, Japanese are not stupid, they won’t assign non-Hokkien speaking Koreans and Manchurians to Malaya and make life difficult for themselves.

Many young Taiwanese join Kamikaze mission near to the end of WW2.
