"The values of Singapore's founding generation of leaders have been scrupulously adhered to by successive generations of leaders and are like "religious commandments""

- Law Minister K Shanmugan

Should or should not have Anti Corruption Act in Singapore
All Singaporeans wanted to know is a simple answer from legal experts whether a stern warning verdict for 6 KOM corruption CEOs is sufficient ie right or wrong?

Should they be prosecuted or not?

Some of those legal experts missed the forest for the trees - no one is asking whether anti corruption act is needed to be strengthen or not?
These so-called experts only dodge the bullet
What the use of more laws if they refuse to prosecute.

This article is written to mislead and misdirect.

They are helping to divert attention away and hijack  to delay the process..

They are fruits from the same tree.

Then, Singapore leaders shouldn't stop any corruption in Singapore.

Why arrest foreign bankers in 1MBD scandal?

It's not that "they" whoever that is, refused to prosecute.

It's the key witnesses who refused to come to Singapore.  If you cannot produce the witnesses, the case cannot proceed.

Is that too hard for you to understand?  Pritam is a lawyer, go ask him to explain how the courts work, kid.

I don't know what all sinkies need to know but I do know what you need to know is this.

If you poh mata, say a man trespassed into your house (offence lumber one) and rub your laubu's abalone until she wet wet (offence lumber two), they will take down your statement and the AG will charge the man.

But neither you nor your laobu agrees to attend court.  Both of you are key witnesses.  Without your attending court, the prosecution cannot prove its case.  Do you follow?   Rolleyes
need to brush up detection. especially on those government department that spend a lot of money.
like man will say to outsource need to go to certain supplier.
