Don't think so. Malaysia should be like Singapore. Income tax is on people who worked in the country for more than half a year, regardless of nationality. For citizens working overseas long-term, no income tax. 

Very few countries are like USA where non-resident citizens are taxed regardless of where the income is derived.

I think it is a fair law to alllow children born outside Malaysia to be a citizen if the mother is a Malaysian citizen..........cos the federal constitution allows the children born overseas whose father is a Malaysian can become a citizen.  It is a law of equality, no gender discrimination............
