1) Travelers Quarantine in Hotel

2) Regular testing of their frontline staff ie Airport, F&B . . .

3) WFH

4) Wear masks outdoors


YET they are living in Population Density higher than ours.

Clearly this article is written to blunt the truth of why HKG fared much better than SG and that is because most of them are vaxxed with Sinovac instead of Pfizer because of their proximity to China and that Sinovac works much much much much better than the dud vaccine Pfizer....duh!

One possible difference is we have too many foreign workers …. I am not sure but it could be when we start letting new FW into SG, there is a spike

The main difference is that HK doesn't rely on a large group of workers from South Asia, nor are their fish caught by Indo fishermen.

Hk banned any India flight immediately and any Indian even if they transit in Spore... while Spore open leg to welcome them.

Remember, we continue our transit flights to HK. We recognise certain testing centre from Delta but HK don't recognise it. End up, our flights got cancelled for a few days due to infected passengers.

The bursting of the travel bubbles are signs of problems. Their strategy is that you need to trace the source(local) of the virus spread and solve it(linked). Ours are to live with the virus.

Some people in this forum have really goldfish memories. The original delta wave started because of the FT and FW flying in from "South Asia", which caused the Delta variant to leak from Changi Airport. Remember?
