He is an actor, to show emotion is part of the job. He is possibly feeling sad that he may not get the chance to spend the money which he has amassed from this war.

To think the American along with the European countries, who has paid him to “prolong” this war. He is possibly feeling sad that all those sport cars or expensive properties he has obtained in many parts of the world, has no chance to use them.

After all this war doesn’t seem to stop anytime and possibly going to lose in time when the Americans stopped “supporting” him.

Well, we have seen how they used to say the same thing in Afghanistan. Once there is nothing to gain, the Americans will leave the very instances. Left behind whatever they no longer need or want.

The American is likely to prolong this proxy war to sell their arms. Once Ukraine cannot repay, it will also mean a decline in support.

This is also a supremacy war. For the US, it means World Supremacy. They seem to achieve it now with ex-soviet countries.  For Russia, it means maintaining as a Superpower and leader in Europe.

For some ex-soviet countries in Europe, they may continue to support.

Think they can force Russia out? 
Sanctions everywhere, steal their gold and assets of the individuals. 
They better not chock Russia further.
If no Choice Russia will nuke. 
England could be first on list.
