The problem of forming cliques is not unique to rjc, or any jc with ip and o level admissions. Even among those with o level admissions, they would form cliques of their own.
The other problems are common among those top schools as expected
Very common lah. Even in PnP, there are cliques being formed also. A few MPs are favored, some are not. Some can become PM material, some totally cannot

RI, you know how many classes are there in JC1. I don’t believe all classes of students behave this way.
You are an elite student but it doesn’t mean you must behave like a nerd and isolate yourself from the outside world.
It still depends on your luck how many JAE(O lvl route) students allocated into that same class.
If only 3 JAE students, then too bad.
More difficult to break the ice with the IP students for the JAE students.(物以类聚，人以群分）
