大惊小怪。小题大做。大作文章。 He is known not to hold tech stock except for Apple...He blamed himself for missing Amazon

完了完了,什么都玩完了
After he bought TSMC shares, Taiwan media and talk shows kept talking about it, but now they are very quiet, dunt even dare to report this, and Taiwan’s general public knows nothing about it. Why like that?
Obviously he is concerned after Biden asked chipmakers to share profits with the U.S. government each year after getting the U.S. garment grants and not allowed to export chips to China and set up factories in China.
The answer is quite simple. Why do people make a mystery out of this.

If today you buy an orange for long term because you expect it to appreciate over time maybe years.

4 months later the market offers you 50% higher price.....wouldn't you take it instead of waiting ...? A bird at hand is worth 2 in the bushes.

When Buffett says if is long term means he is patient to wait for prices to move higher it make take years ...but if overnight it moves to overvalued prices he will sell.

The recent rally was a massive 50% deadcat bounce for TSMC. It is smart to take the money off the table and be done with it.

He is an investor, not a day trader, he won’t take quick profit like you. Something must be going on, he knew,  that is why he dumped 85% of TSMC shares now.
TSMC's price has not been affected very much compared to SMIC. If Buffet's sale is significant, the stock price will be much affected

I am not a trader.
There is nothing new except the stock going too high ...

Don’t think Buffet will sell within one quarter for a fractional profit. It simply go against his life long philosophy.
Likely the geopolitical risk has risen too much
