Chipmakers that getting US garment grants will not be allowed to sell chips to China or set up factories in China. Samsung and TSMC will be dead meat soon. They also must hire thousands more American workers and provide childcare service to the workers.
When chipmakers make profits, they must share certain percentage with the U.S. government…daytime robbery! The U.S. kidnaps chipmakers to the U.S. then rob them dry.

Taiwanese engineers who were relocated to Arizona complained that their pay is much lower than American workers and must work long hours while Americans refuse to do. As for free housing, it is also not true, they have to rent apartment out of their own pockets while Americans all live in landed properties. Many went there hoping to get green cards, it doesn’t happen….eventually many of them will jump boat to Intel or other U.S. companies for better pay and applying for Green Cards.
