Corruption in Taiwan is worse than our neighbour up north, many garment officials eat money in big projects.
In the case of the newly built Hsinchu baseball stadium, the field was not built according to the international standard, no drainage system was built underground and the money was pocked by the officials in charge.

The field is always flooded after storms, instead of building underground drainage system, people saw them dump landfill during construction, today they found mushrooms grow on the field.
