Likely the current husband wants to kill Abby and asked her ex in-laws to do the job….then set them up and reported to police soon after she went missing….as a result her ex husband didn’t have enough time to flee via a boat and others got arrested. That is why her ex husband called current husband and asked him why he reported to the police without informing them, her ex father-law called current husband asking him to pay the legal fee and hire a good lawyer.
