Mahathir makes it sound like it is bad for Malaysia to be like Singapore. The fact is that it is not a matter of whether Malaysia should be like Singapore, but whether it has the capability to be.

It's like you tell a kid that if you are not careful and don't be guai, you will become Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
