SINGAPORE — Samy’s Curry has been identified as one of two new Covid-19 clusters on Saturday (July 24), after eight cases were linked to the restaurant on Dempsey Road.
The other new cluster, which is linked to an individual, has four cases.

In its evening update on the coronavirus situation in Singapore, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said that epidemiological investigations have found that there is likely ongoing transmission at the restaurant.
As such, the restaurant will be closed from Sunday till Aug 8 for deep cleaning and to break the chain of transmission.
Samy’s restaurant employees have been placed on quarantine and will be tested during quarantine.
