Wow, this is great news.

I am eagerly waiting for Singapore Power EMA to also half our Singapore electricity tariffs when after end of March, it sets new tariff prices for the next 3 months. 

Deflation is coming.

if prices can drop 20% here - consider it a miracle liao.............

I believe new tariffs prices in Singapore from April onwards should show a large drop. Just wait and see.

u lim too much Kopi liao - The chart trend is typical due to change in season. The winter had been warmer than usual...but that still doesn't bring down the overall inflation.

You r here trying to teach everyone here the basic of normal pricing of energy.  For some reason,  U refuse to mention tt Russians r causing this energy crisis.  So did the energy price went up because of Russians' aggression? U think yr wumao logic rings a bell here?

I am not "teaching" anyone here - Just pointing out a simple REALITY that energy market can be manipulated - and the same people who ignores basic market mechanisms are also suckers for Western Propaganda.

Some Fun FACT for teaserteam  is - It wasn't the Russians who stop exporting its oil, but it is NATO and their American Master who decided to sanction Russian Oil and Gas.. One year later, we saw who are the real IDIOTS.

Whatever it is, as a Singaporean that is concerned about currently very high electricity tariffs, which doubled currently from 2-3 years ago (near ALL TIME HIGH), I wish the authority look into it and make massive downward adjustment at the next tariffs FIXING.

So u think it is right for the BABARIAN state to use oil as a weapon irrespective whether pple all over the World can suffer and they should come out and condemn USA and the NATO?  The Wumaos are thinking tt way is correct. Anyway, the BABARIAN is getting the opposite reaction.. so silly.

This is just to answer yr point what effect Russia oil & gas price hike has effect on Euro Area and what sanctions and the war has effect on Russia.  They r silly enough to kill themselves.  Did the World appreciate?  Looks like only wumaos did.  May b 笑里藏刀

Electricity prices is something that affects the likelihood of every household, and businesses alike.

I hope someone brings it out in the parliament, so that the EMA have to do something to set some lower and more realistic prices, and benefits hundreds of thousands of households, and also businesses.

No point just giving households a few hundred dollars one-time assistance, and then we have to pay for very high tariffs for months and years on end...

My electricity bill will double after end of March, when my previous fixed rate contract expires.
