For those who were still toddlers on the dawn of this Century and don't know why Invasion of Iraq was justified....this 70-min Leading to War best explains the reasons and excuses... by using the own words and lies from US politicians since 9/11.

It was a big mistake for US to attack Iraq...however the main war was only a few days to remove the Saddam Regime. Saddam has previously attacked and invaded Kuwuit. The war and subsequent efforts to rebuild Iraq would eventually cost the Americans hundreds of billions.

The Russia invasion is what is happening now is wrong and a violation of sovereign integrity. The Russians have to withdraw immediately.

Any form of "Invasion" is a mistake regardless.
Problem is how the word got defined by whom and what is the legacy.
Russian calls their's "Special military operation" while US label its invasion "Operation Iraqi Freedom"
The irony is the later didn't bring any "Freedom" which was campign by NATO and 2 English-speaking countries.

20 Years later, the Russians found itself in a proxy European war against the NATO/US who participated in invading Iraq, after invading Afghanistan only months earlier....which took the Americans 20 years to withdraw.

Without replacing dictators and let them roam around would be a big mistake. The whole country would be in danger.

This is one of the lousiest excuse I ever read in SGTalk....

The US had enjoyed a very short unipolar moment. But rather than exploiting it to cement America’s total world dominance, the war in Iraq helped to end it decisively. It has created more problems than the US can address. By trying to contain and fight back a revanchist Russia, a resentful Iran and a powerful China, it is pushing them into each other’s arms.

A world empire has always been hard to run; the US is now finding it nearly impossible.
