What to know about the shooting at The Covenant School:

• Three students and three adults were killed, and police killed the shooter
  

• Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney, who were all 9 years old, died
  

• The adult victims — Cynthia Peak, 61; Katherine Koonce, 60; and Mike Hill, 61 — included one of the school's top administrators
  

• Police described the shooter as a 28-year-old former female student, Ashley Hale, who had detailed maps of the school (words in italics added by Levin)
  

• Nashville police said a sense of "resentment" might have played a role in the deadly attack
  

【人持不乱】据纳什维尔市警方当天通报说，当地时间10时13分，警方接到报警电话，一名28岁的女性携带两支攻击性步枪和一把手枪在一所小学内开枪射击，造成3名儿童和3名成年人死亡。枪手被到场警察击毙。据悉，该小学是一所私立教会学校，从学前班到6年级有约200名学生。


《国会山报》称，枪击案发生之后，拜登听取了相关简报，白宫也一直同美国司法部及当地官员保持联系。报道称，在提到枪手携带的武器时，拜登再次呼吁美国国会通过有关攻击性武器的禁令，“现在是我们取得更多进展的时候了”，拜登说，随着有关枪击案更多细节的出现，政府将继续关注事态发展。

It is beginning to be a big problem in America, with daily shootings occurring in so many states. Biden should shift his focus on these shootings rather than on Ukraine and TikTok..........
