Sg's problem, as I see it, is that the 3 big local banks (as well as Govn) have not been willing to let go of fat profits from NETS etc. Similar situation is happening in Angmoh countries dominated by a few credit card companies.
I was very pieced off by Sg banks' inability to complete processing my GIRO application for my car loan payment ONE month after my purchase of the car, not just once!
