SINGAPORE - A woman was seen shouting and tossing two eggs at a staff member at a Toast Box outlet, after she realised the soft-boiled eggs she ordered were not cracked open upon being served.
In a video posted by District Singapore on Facebook on Friday, the middle-aged woman can be seen holding her mobile phone as if she was recording the exchange while she spoke to the employee in Mandarin.

Half-boiled eggs are served without being cracked, it is served as a whole egg. That is the industry standard..............

Nowadays, eggs are no longer cooked or fried for meals. It comes raw. I have got no choice but to skip all these meals.

Very disgraceful and shameful woman. Thicked-skin too. Toastbox shd hv called the police. She can be charged for public nuisance.
Could be customer fault or the hawker fault. It takes 2 hands to clap or crack.
Ever come across hawker or the server very kua lan type?? Sometime just 忍 .But this customer probably buay song or buay tahan. So fight lah😡

I have not eaten at Toast Box because they are more than double price at normal coffee shop,
Normal coffee shop toast set with get is $2.50 and you always have to crack the eggs yourself

I think that it is a industry practice not to crack the half-boiled eggs, many coffee shops and KopiTiams practice this..........

You might not know that it is half cooked if they don't crack it.
Based on this video Toastbox does not crack eggs for customers and some parts of the eggs is uncooked...so the worker was upholding standard practice at Toastbox
Probably she was being served raw eggs before.
Some stall holders just pour hot water into the container and immediately serve the customer. If raw, it is your fault. If over-cooked, it is also your fault.
Toastbox deserved it because they cheat

Sometime hawker or server pass sarcastic remark that trigger the customer. Don't be too fast to jump to conclusion that it's the customer fault.

The worker is likely a Malaysian or Ex-Malaysian while the customer might be from Taiwan or Ex-Taiwanese.
