"Ukrainian forces are holding Bakhmut, although the situation is difficult and the Russians storming the city are outnumbered," Serhiy Cherevaty, spokesman for the Eastern Group of Forces, said on Friday. He admitted that the Russians had "tactical successes" in some places.
