In fact He is the most hardworking HK actor also a lot director want him to act.
This is why he involve a lot movie mah. Is not say he is poor so need to act alot hor. He is dam rich

But many of his movies not fantastic. Average quality only.
I got no particular preference for any HK actor. I prefer to focus on the storyline instead. I like those serial killers, murders, robberies, ghost, afterlife kind instead. Of cuz if the actor act well for the role it is a bonus. CNY in Msia I watch a recent movie is a serial killer liu qing yun got act. He is old liao but he act in the role very convincing. Instead the serial killer not evil enough. He is actually the policeman that "rescue" the ger haha. Yes spoiler policeman is serial killer haha.
I like best his time travel period drama where he help Qin emperor gain power.

Better than what Jack neo , Mak lee obviously.
Louis K movie mostly on crime, police, ICA , triad. Why he always act in these movie partly he act well obviously.
This is why director choose him.

liu qing yun also another good actor but if playing bad guy role he not say act well. He more on acting as good guy better.
Louis K can act both role. Got few movie he act as bad guy is good likewise for good guy.
now ready to see my fav HK Idol movie again.
IF I not mistaken there is a Real Crime at Hk or where, happen the Parrot is the Key witness too just like this movie.
I remember the ending now ,
