No wonder the potholes near my place

were filled up with black rough uneven raise filling that will cause trip 

if you are not careful
Pot holes when mended still will sink again
Because of more frequent intense downpour and unusually longer wet season we experienced in Q1 this year...

Plus the return to work post-COVID restrictions with heavier traffic ..

That's the standard quick patch job for pot holes before the road surfacing is done.
