I saw a notice on my hdb lift door about engaging contractors from a "list of reputable" where even RC, TC also engage their services. Such a list give better chance no run road contractors? But their quotation should be higher I guess.

Must take down their id and contractor licence, local office address and contacts. Aso capture their photos on security cam. Even with all these, the risk is still there
I think those that got contract with RC, TC cannot play punk much as they want long time business. RC and TC sure will engage such services from them.
Can't blame him.
Many owners are chow kar.
Never pay after work is done.
