I agree with you though in reality, they wouldn't dare to go that far. China may have the size of an elephant compared with other countries, but a pack of lions, each much smaller than an elephant, can bring it down and kill it.

But the CCP can declare a second zone, south of Taiwan to ramp up as a second warning. The north zone was just a first warning. Then there's east and west of Taiwan, which means all of Taiwan. In effect, fighter jets from Taiwan are not allowed to leave the country while allied forces cannot send their jets to fly towards China's mainland to attach the CCP army.

China burnt alot of bridges build up over the years by Deng and Zhou Enlai and others who build solid relationships and trust with rest of the world.

Creating strong ties with Putin's Russia with Iran literally self declared enemies of the west undermines these relations .

The U.S. dares not send carriers to Taiwan or near. Hines’s coast as it is scared of China’s DF missiles that will sink US carriers killing 5000 onboard, so called “aircraft carrier killer”.
