I watch this guy's video from time to time.
After watching, my conclusion is that he is rich but not rich enough to get a PR by investment in SG. His company revenue is at most in the single digit millions range.

Everthing is cheaper in Malaysia and plenty of beaches.
Singapore only have harbour in the South and shipyards in the North and West.
