That is why many will laugh at the misnoma saying India the "largest democracy". 

It has zero tradition of a free society, controlled and exploited for 3 centuries of Colonialism and partitioned by religions and ethnicity differences.. to has never been one and nor it will ever be an effective...that's besides the deeply-entrenched Caste system...

labour day is Protest on the Greedy Govt , corporations

whereas in SG is NTUC aka Govt ownself brag ownself.

American labour day is on every first Monday of September.
