Americans surveyed expressed frustration with electric cars because of their high cost, insufficient number of charging stations and slow charging speeds.

They are also concerned about the behavior of electric cars in extreme temperatures and the lack of specialist garages.

Don't forget : China's HSR are using purely electric engines!  Big Grin
This survey is indeed worrying as Americans are very dependent on cars to commute.
I almost like feel sorry for them not knowing the World is moving on without them....

Electric cars are here to stay.
.the cost of making EV is vs petrol car is lower and EV is easier to repair...

This however is the problem. Any country or company can just build their own EV so long as they can get parts like batteries from CATL, ....the motor and rest of the parts are not difficult.

This means the market will get very crowded and competitive.

Musi is cutting price and margin to dominate a large market share.
US behind in infrastructures.
Old trains, oold cell phones.
Their leaders are not interested in fixing their own Country.
