The ruling party has the entire civil service working for them. All oppie requests are stonewalled. Whether it should be happening or not is debatable but that is the on the ground reality.

1. 成何体统 who is MIA with client's money
2. Lim Tean who had some financial issues
3.  RK the scriptwriter and her own Parliament movie star in the Story of the Rape
4.  LHY a PSP party member whose whereabouts is not known. Lied under oath. Dishonourable.
5. Jamus Lim giving lots of Econs stuff to MPs in Parliament. Very academic and theoretical but out of touch with the commercial reality
6. A LOTO who knew that his party member lied in Parliament several times but kept quiet. 

Chiam See Tong refused to give up power even after he had a stroke. Die die he still passed the baton to his wife who was better at bandaging wounds than speaking in Parliament. Result? SPP faded into oblivion.

Low Thia Khiamg didn't want to repeat the mistake, so he worked at Party renewal and retired from office while he was still in good health. And he found goddamnit! Pritam Singh. LTK should consider coming back.

Ministerial salaries is not a new issue. Afaik it was a hot topic about 15 years ago when your financial advisor Sgbuffet was a 24 year old young punk.

The Gerard Ee Committee was set up to recommend what salaries for ministers and MPs would be fair. Unknown to the general public, LTK and his party members did a separate and Independent computation.

Surprise surprise. WP came up with a proposal which was very close to what the Gerard Ee Committee recommended.

LTK had no issues whatsoever with ministerial salaries so I wonder what your problem is..

Ministeral salary has been the longest issue that is why Gerard Ee quit after one time doing it
