SINGAPORE: Despite being told that his client operated illegal gambling dens in Geylang, a real estate agent allegedly failed to report a suspicious property transaction involving the client.

He will be charged on Wednesday (Oct 20).

In August last year, police received a complaint that an Option to Purchase for a private property was rescinded as the buyer was an undischarged bankrupt and the co-buyer was below 21 years old.

Ironically catch money laundering of locals but what about all those foreigners especially those buying up GCB etc?

Even the big rollers in casinos lah...
This case is a grey area. I think there are many more cases where the buyers' backgrounds are even more dodgy. Like Jho Low supposedly bought properties in SG. Anything happened to his property agent?

Jho Low is a bigĀ  fish, and his dealings are in hundreds of millions, therefore the property agent that service him, is also a 'big fish'....thence it is very difficult to arrest him..... Angry
A lot of gray area. I hope nothing like this happens for resale property in singapore ever again.
