Not so fair, leh.

If LTA can have a hybrid system for COE, that uses the number of households below 12 years old and above 60 years old with annual COE and upfront COE, then it is more fair.

PnP just issue a piece of paper and the paper cost $80K for big cars.

Manufacturer got to build the car from raw materials to an assembled car and it profits only a smaller portion of $80K.

Since you say it is a good system.

Obviously COE is already out of reach for many youngsters. The intent of COE is to regulate traffic not merely for profiteering.
Something must be done to stop the crazy COE price.

Singaporeans rich leh. Though not as crazy as 2013 or 1994 (COE price reached 6 figures which is ridiculous considering the salaries back then).

What kind of fair system is that? if the supply number is squeezed, then the price sure go up. Ask the Minister to maintain the supply number, you see if the price will go up? super chow to squeeze the consumers
